The Institute now consists of 357 employees, including one academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, two academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, three specialists of “Thousand Talents Program” , one distinguished professor of “Changjiang Scholars Program”, two National Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contribution,1 winner of National Outstanding Youth Science Fund, 7 scholars of “New Century Talents Project”, three chief scientists of “973 Program”, one chief scientist of “863 Program”, 10 Ministerial and Provincial Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contribution, six outstanding talents and innovative teams in agricultural researches under Ministry of Agriculture, 20 innovative teams of Science and Technology Innovation Project under Academy of Agricultural Sciences, 54 doctoral supervisors and 90 researchers.
