Cereal Quality Supervision and Testing Center (CQSTC), Ministry of Agriculture, People’s Republic of China

The Cereal Quality Supervision and Testing Center (CQSTC) is a professional agency responsible for cereal quality supervision and testing, which is accerdited by Certification and Accreditation Adiminstration of the People’s Republic of China, meanwhile authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture, People’s Republic of China.

Main tasks of CQSTC are as follows:

1. To conduct cereal quality supervision and routine inspection, be responsible for high quality cereal product selection and sampling inspection assigned by the Ministry of Agriculture and other related departments;

2. Entrusted by the Ministry of Agriculture and other related department, to test for cereal products certification and quality authentication, in charge of arbitration inspection of related product quality and other entrusted inspections;

3. To undertake research of new testing techniques, cereal-product quality and safety and agro-product risk asssessment, to erect new national and agricultural standards or revise existing standards.

4.  To provide technical guidance and personnel training for local agro-product quality testing institutions.

The center has set up one general office and two inspection offices.
