Establishment and application of fundamental and technical diversity index system of Chinese crop germplasm resources (The Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 2009): Found out the fundamental diversity of crop germplasm resources in China for the first time, established the methodologies for assessing genetic diversity of variety, variant, ecotype and genotype of main crops, established a set of indexes and standards for crop germplasm resources collection, preservation, evaluation and utilization, which greatly improved the efficiency and benefits of using germplasm resources.
