Overview:

China Seed Industry, formerly Crop Germplasm Resources founded in 1982, is a national journal of seed technologies directed by the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) and jointly sponsored by the Institute of Crop Sciences of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and China National Seed Association. The journal started to use the current name in 2000 and its original quarterly issue turned to bimonthly issue in 2001 and then to monthly issue in 2002. China Seed Industry aims to be the leading industrial journal with number one circulation, authority and influence in the seed industry. Delivering innovative, practical, systematic and guiding breakthrough in actual work is the journal’s principle. China Seed Industry is dedicated to bringing periodic reports or publications of those articles presenting academic overview, forefront information, cutting edge subject or topic of the discipline as well as academic contention taking advantage of the journal as an information sources, so that its foresight and guiding function may be fully utilized for correctly carrying out scientific research, achieving smooth production and construction, and boosting new scientific research achievements. China Seed Industry accelerates information transfer through actively participating in various large-scale international conferences while co-organizing large and medium scale domestic seed trade fairs, provides good academic foresight and guidance to its readers by introducing dynamics of international seed industry, international seed institutes, domestic seed institution restructuring, and up-to-date product information, and promotes improvements in social and economic benefits.

Editorial Board of China Seed Industry is formed by Mr. Zhang Yanqiu, Director-General of the Bureau of Seed Management of MOA and Mr. Liu Xu, Vice President of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering as the Directors; Mr. Wan Jianmin, Duan Wude, Deng Guanglian, Li Liqiu and Wang Shumin as the Deputy Directors and Mr. Wang Lianzheng, Wan Baorui, Liang Tiangeng and the academician Dai Jingrui as the consultants. The journal always adheres to correct orientation for public opinion; applies strict article examination and approval procedure in order to ensure clear standpoint, powerful demonstration, logical reasoning, correct conclusion and higher scientific and innovative level of the essays. This is a guarantee of higher quality of the essays and academic level of the journal.
