Research Area

Her lab mainly focus on establishment of a precise and efficient wheat genetic transformation system based on developed marker-free transformation system, genome editing and microspore cultivation to speed up the generation of homozygous wheat transgenic lines; Molecular cloning and functional analysis of aphid resistant genes, and development of a novel generation of aphid-proof wheat plants either emitting (E)-β-Farnesene or/and through plant-mediated RNAi.
